The skippability of video ads is at the discretion of the publisher. Usually, however:

  • 15 second ads are non-skippable
  • 30 second ads may be skippable
  • >30 second ads are usually skippable
  • Mobile video ads >15 seconds are usually skippable

We do not offer skippability targeting at this time as this information is usually not available from the exchanges, but you may consider using automatic Basic Optimization or manual optimization to optimize away from skippable placements if desired. Suggested settings:

  • Sites/Placements: ON
  • Optimization Target: 50% Video Completion Rate (VCR)
  • Sample size: 1000 impressions
